You Can't Go Home Again

Last week at my childhood home in Maine, I read Thomas Wolfe's classic You Can't Go Home Again. While at times funny, it was generally a little heavy for summer fiction reading.

A lot of people talk about reclaiming the American dream, and a lot more fight about what America's ideal really is. This book answers those questions by zeroing in on America's ongoing flaw, it's original sin. Provocative. I highly recommend it.
