As I listen to people talk about Obama's ascent to power, I notice how they use the words he used. Change, hope, etc. His rhetoric has been singularly effective.

Consider, as we await his crowning speech, the words of Confucius.

When asked how he would lead a nation:

"The first thing I would do is fix the language."
