Today my family was visited by relatives we hadn't seen in 10-12 years. They are an older couple and entertained the less busy folks around home with stories of their travels and grandchildren. I walked into the room and gave them a 1.5 minute update on my life before I went to work...

Me: "I graduated and am in business school."
Old man: "I hate all MBAs."
Me: ?
Old man: "They all abuse their employees, products, and customers. They get paid too much. All they all do is serve the bottom-line."
Me: "Oh."

What about my calling inspires such hatred? How can I avoid it?
